Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA)

Sexual violence is defined as a sexual act(s) committed against someone without that person’s freely given consent.

PAVSA can offer help for anyone who has experienced sexual violence over the age of 12:

  • supportive advocacy
  • crisis counseling
  • forensic medical exams by a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner
  • legal advocacy
  • support groups
  • individual therapy
  • 24-hour crisis line support
